DANIEL ISLAND- A SPECTULAR COASTAL SETTING WITH BEAUTIFUL MARSH VIEWS

Within Charleston, South Carolina, a very special island town has emerged. This is a place where traditional neighborhoods, nationally ranked golf and a vibrant downtown enjoy a spectacular coastal setting. Surrounded by rivers, creeks and beautiful marsh views, Daniel Island is a place where people live and work, where children walk to school, and where the opportunities for active recreation are limitless. Residents of all ages have come from around the country to make their home here, drawn by the island's natural beauty, welcoming neighbors and endless array of amenities and conveniences, all within just 15 minutes of historic Charleston, South Carolina.

A MASTER PLANNED COMMUNITY- DANIEL ISLAND

Like many other seemingly stand-alone towns in the Charleston area, Daniel Island is not really a town at all. Rather, it is a part of the city Charleston with its own identity. Interesting enough, it was annexed in its entirety by Berkeley County. To some, Daniel Island refers only to the award-winning master planned community situated between the Cooper and Wando Rivers. To others, Daniel Island includes that, plus a significant area that proceeds up Clements Ferry Road toward Cainhoy.

The planned community was previously owned by the Harry Frank Guggenheim Foundation and had served as a farming, ranching and private hunting preserve. In 1992, Daniel Island made this large chunk of Charleston, adjacent to Mt. Pleasant and Hanahan, extremely desirable, as it became just a short drive from both Downtown and the region's major airport. The development exploded since the land changed ownership in 1997.

Today, residents live, work and recreate where animals still roamed freely. Today we use our experience and vast knowledge of all of Charleston’s real estate markets to help our clients successfully navigate the process of buying or selling a home anywhere in the Lowcountry. We are here to help!
